High School - CF Buzz

New beginnings

Starting high school is often daunting for anyone. You’re heading into a completely new environment with lots of new people you don’t know and a very different structure to your day.

And let’s face it, you are starting to change, maybe you’re becoming more self-conscious, you’re trying to work out who you are and find your voice. Having cystic fibrosis (CF) can make all of this a little harder.

Suddenly you have a whole lot of new people to explain CF to, a new schedule to work your medication and eating regime around and new demands and stresses to cope with, amongst many other things you’ll discover along the way.

But it’s not all doom and gloom, with a little bit of preparation, you will survive and hopefully thrive.
